Florida Translational Cell Biology Symposium 9/22
Friday, September 22, 2017
9:00 am–7:00 pm
This one-day event is hosted by graduate students in the University of
Florida Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences. Hosted on the campus
of the University of Florida, which is home to the region’s most
comprehensive academic health center, the symposium will be a perfect
environment for graduate students, postdocs, and faculty from
around the state to join each other and discuss translational aspects
of many topics within the broader field of cell biology. Researchers
at all career stages will have the opportunity to present their work in
either poster or lecture format, network with scientists from other
institutes during a provided lunch and evening reception, and attend
discussion groups on issues related to career development.
Special thanks to Biomedical Sciences students, Joseph Black, Breanna Burkes, John Calise, and Kristen Skruber for planning and organizing the symposium.
