Admission into the Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences in competitive. Students receive tuition and an annual stipend of $28,627 (2017 – 2018).

Requirements

Research experience: Most applicants have a year or more of research experience. This is initially evaluated based on a personal statement and letters of recommendation.

GPA: Minimum 3.0 for all upper division undergraduate work.

Course requirements: Successful completion of general biology and chemistry including organic chemistry and biochemistry.

GRE: Required for graduate admission to UF.
