Research Description:
Dr. Babajani is Director of the Magnetoencephalography (MEG) Lab at the Norman Fixel Institute of Neurological Diseases and Associate Professor of Neurology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the College of Medicine. Dr. Babajani has a background in biomedical engineering and extensive research experience in the neuroscience of epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and other neurological conditions. He utilizes data analytics and machine learning applied to multimodal electrophysiological/neuroimaging methods, such as MEG, intracranial EEG (iEEG), and functional MRI (fMRI).
