Research Description:
the Alviña lab focuses on studying how environmental factors such as stress, diet and exercise affect neuronal processing and cognitive behavior. The lab uses a combination of animal models, in vitro electrophysiology and behavioral analyses to investigate how synaptic function is affected in brain regions involved in learning and memory.
