Recognition Ceremony

Traditionally, the College of Medicine hosts a Graduation Recognition Ceremony at the end of every semester in the form of a brunch or luncheon. We use this as an opportunity to celebrate our graduates in a smaller more intimate setting prior to the university-wide commencement ceremonies.  The event is attended by family and friends, mentors, deans, chairs, program directors/coordinators, and staff.  During our recognition ceremony, mentors speak and highlight their graduate’s research and Ph.D. journey in a style that is relatable to the graduate’s family members and/or friends who are attending this event.

We take great pride in our students and wish to provide the best-possible experience as we celebrate you and wish you well on the next steps of your journey. To do this, we ask for your feedback.
